A Great Idea for a Great Place

December 9, 2010Patrick NunnallyUncategorizedComments Off on A Great Idea for a Great Place

Just a quick note this morning to point you all to a news article on the potential restoration of Mississippi River flow over the east face of the falls at St. Anthony in Minneapolis.

This kind of visionary thinking, which has taken at least 3 years to get to this point and is likely to take that much longer to come to fruition, is exactly the kind of work that is worthy of a great river.

What other visions of the future river, that is home to wildlife as well as humans, that is a truly memorable “destination asset” as well as a city icon, can we come up with?
