Interested in a natural resources job with the Federal Government? Join University of Minnesota student organization River Rangers for this two day event featuring employees from the National Park Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Army Corps of Engineers and the Forest Service:
Federal Resume Workshop – November 8th, 9:30-11, Room 380 Learning and Environmental Science (St. Paul Campus)
Federal Jobs Information and Networking Event – November 13th, 9:30-11, Room 202 St. Paul Student Center (St. Paul Campus)
In the Federal Resume Workshop, students will learn about the differences between a professional resume and a federal resume, as well as resources available to you for creating your own and ways to get a job with the federal government. Speakers for this session include representatives from: Career and Internship Services, the National Park Service, as well as the U.S. Forest Service.
In the Federal Jobs Information and Networking Event, federal employer representatives will speak about the organization they work for, as well as job opportunities for students. The first hour of the session will be representative presentations, and the last 30 minutes of the session will be available for students to network with representatives from Career and Internship Services, the National Park Service, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Army Corps of Engineers.
