Beer Brewing History of the Mississippi River

November 28, 2012Ellen FolmanUncategorizedComments Off on Beer Brewing History of the Mississippi River

This is the history they don’t teach in school, and is bound to be one of your favorite lessons.

Join River Rangers and the National Park Service at 6pm on Thursday, December 6th, in Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Affairs room 15, for an enlightening talk on one of Minnesota’s most loved beverages. Learn about how the Mississippi River influenced the art of beer brewing in the Twin Cities and discover things you never knew about beer. After the talk we will head over to one of the establishments near the West Bank to enjoy some food, company, and perhaps a beer that you have just learned so much about.

Under 21? No problem! ALL ages are welcome.

Hope to see you there!
